Dans un triangle rectangle, 3 formules sont essentielles pour calculer le sinus, le cosinus et la tangente.

$\sin(x)={\frac {cote\ oppose}{hypotenuse}}$

$\cos(x)={\frac {cote\ adjacent}{hypothenuse}}$

$\tan(x)={\frac {cote\ oppose}{cote\ adjacent}}$

Le moyen mémo-technique pour retenir ces formules est "SOH CAH TOA".
